Vous êtes cordialement invité(e)s à la soirée Hypothèse du 18 février prochain à 16 h au Salon des amis du Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal, soirée qui a pour thématique « Who’s Afraid of Bubbling Images ? ».
Lors de cette séance, vous assisterez à la conférence de John Toohey (doctorant, Concordia) intitulée : « Fred Judge’s Landscape of Fear », et à celle de Shana Cooperstein (doctorante, McGill), intitulée « How Bubbles Gained Currency : Realism, Perception and Speculation in Eighteenth-Century Britain ».
La séance sera présidée par Daniel Fiset (Doctorant, UdeM). Les conférences seront suivies d’un cocktail dont la boisson sera offerte par Vins Philippe Dandurand, et Hypothèses remercie l’Association des étudiants des cycles supérieurs (GSA) de l’Université McGill, pour leur contribution spéciale à cette soirée.

You are cordially invited to the next Hypotheses Symposium being held on February 18th at 4:00PM in the Salon des amis of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The theme of the evening is “Who’s Afraid of Bubbling Images?”.
Our speakers will be John Toohey (PhD candidate, Concordia university) presenting a paper entitled “Fred Judge’s Landscape of Fear”, and Shana Cooperstein (PhD candidate, McGill University) presenting a paper entitled “How Bubbles Gained Currency : Realism, Perception and Speculation in Eightheenth Century Britain”.
Daniel Fiset (PhD candidate, University of of Montreal) will chair the session. The evening will be followed by a reception where the conversation can continue in a more relaxed environment. Our sponsor Philippe Dandurand will offer the wine, and Hypotheses would also like to thank the Graduate Students Association of the University McGill, for their special contribution to the evening.
